➕Stations of the Cross➕✞

✞ Here is a short version of “Stations of the Cross”. We can meditate on these stations during our free time, wherever we are – be it office, school or home. These stations will help us to remember Jesus and His passion during the Lenten Season, amidst our busy schedules.

1. First Station ✞

Jesus is condemned to death.

(We may have been condemned by others for no fault of ours. We may have been hurt. We may be unwanted and lonely in this world. We may be a burden for others. Let us give all those painful moments over to the Lord.)

2. Second Station ✞

Jesus carries the Cross.

(Let us remember the times when he had to carry our cross in the form of sin, sickness, pain, worry, despair, loneliness, guilt, loss of loved ones, financial problems and so on. As Jesus bore the cross with patience, let us be patient with our cross and look forward towards greater glory.)

3. Third Station ✞

Jesus falls the first time.

(Let us remember the first time when we gave into temptation and sinned. We fell into sin and moved away from God. Let us repent and ask Jesus for his forgiveness.)

4. Fourth Station ✞

Jesus meets his mother.

(Let us remember our Heavenly Mother who gave birth to Jesus Christ and raised him on this earth. Let us believe in our Heavenly Mother’s powerful intercession. Mother Mary can intercede for us and obtain all graces we need in our lives. Let Mother Mary be our comfort and strength during this earthly journey.)

5. Fifth Station ✞

Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus to carry his cross.

(When we were burdened with our cross, when the cross was too heavy for us to carry, Jesus would have sent someone into our lives to help us carry the cross. It may have been your spouse, your parents, your children, your friends or even a stranger. Jesus would never abandon us. Let us thank Jesus for all those people who gave us hope.)

6. Sixth Station ✞

Veronica wipes the face of Jesus

(Let us remember our family members and friends who were there with us, to comfort us during the most painful times of our life. Let us pray for them, for all the times they comforted us and brought back faith to our lives. )

7. Seventh Station ✞

Jesus falls for the second time.

(We often feel sorry and repent for our sins. We again fall into temptation and then forget everything pretty soon. We go back to our sinful lives, falling into even more greater sins. Let us surrender our hearts to the Lord and be truly repentant and sorry. Let us strive not to keep committing the same sins over and over.)

8. Eight Station ✞

Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem.

(Let us be compassionate and merciful to the people around us. Let us open our eyes to the people suffering in this world. As Jesus comforted the women of Jerusalem, let us have mercy on those in distress. Let our hearts reach out to the Sinners and the people who yet don’t know Jesus.)

9.  Ninth Station ✞

Jesus falls the third time.

(Let this be the last time we sin. Let us make our hearts strong and pray to Jesus for strength to fight the temptations of Satan. Let us become closer to God during this Lenten Season, through Fasting, Prayer and Almsgiving.)

10. Tenth Station ✞

Jesus is stripped of his clothes.

(Surrender all those moments in your life which you wish had never ever happened and want to forget forever. It may have been a moment of great embarrassment or great shame. It may be a moment when somebody insulted you or hurt you deeply. When Jesus was stripped of his clothes, he was ashamed and hurt, but he bore everything for our sins. Let us invite Jesus to heal our wounds and surrender all painful moments of our lives to Him.)

11. Eleventh Station ✞

Jesus is nailed to the Cross.

(Let us give up our sinful life. Let all our sins be nailed to the cross so that we can live a new life in Jesus. As Jesus endured unbearable pain while being nailed to the cross, let us bear our sorrows with patience and hold onto life.)

12. Twelfth Station ✞

Jesus dies on the Cross.

(Let the Sinful Man in us die on the Cross along with Jesus. Let us resolve to never sin again and avoid all temptation.)

13. Thirteenth Station ✞

The body of Jesus is taken down from the Cross.

(Jesus, you died for our sins and purchased for us the reward of eternal life. Let us always keep that in our minds and live this life with hope.)

14. Fourteenth Station ✞

Jesus is laid in the tomb.

(Let us look forward to the Eternal Life that Jesus has offered us by giving his own life as ransom. Let us pray to Jesus for the grace of a happy death.)

- You were focused on the glass not to drop the water. The same is in our life. When our focus is Our Lord Jesus Christ, we will not have time to see people's mistakes.

A Place I Would Like to Visit “Japan”

There are a lot of wonderful places I wish to visit. One of the places where I would like to visit is Japan. Japan is the country I’ve been dreaming of to visit. The things that attract me are there culture is very different and there are lots of things for me experience.

Japan has a very distinct and unique culture . Ranging from the multitude of traditional culture like the festivals, tradition and event, to the modern culture like the otaku culture (the anime and manga culture) and entertainment. You will find that Japan provides a very interesting blend of old and new. The technology used are very advanced and futuristic. The people there are fascinating too. They are mostly polite and friendly to foreigners. Usually, among the many reasons people visit Japan, the culture is included in that reasons, too.

Japan is beautiful. The country is really beautiful and there are so many attractive places to visit wherever you go. If you go there when it is spring there, you can see the very beautiful sakura or cherry blossoms. And there are the shrines, castles, and hot springs to visit. The cities are very beautiful at night, too. All in all, Japan is a feast to the eyes if you love sightseeing.

Foods are great. Japan is filled with many special foods that originates from it such as ramen, sushi, okonomiyaki, onigiri and takoyaki and they are very delicious. There are food vendors and restaurants everywhere that serve Japan's unique foods so you can be sure to find them everywhere you go. There are also many buffet or all you can eat restaurants where you cook the foods provided yourself. In short, Japan is filled with delicious foods that you can indulge in.

Japan is a unique country with its beautiful architecture and contrasting culture compared to the United States. I think we can all agree that Japan is an interesting and extraordinary trip.

Japan has tons of beautiful and ancient temples and shrines. The city of Kyoto has around 2,000 Buddhist temples and shrines within the city limits. That number alone is impressive for just one city. Japan also provides thousands of endless Torii gates leading you up a mountain. Talk about getting a workout while exploring another culture.

You won't see any trash or litter anywhere. The Japanese take great pride in their cleanliness; respecting their surroundings.

Being the huge Kit Kat fan that I am, just knowing the fact there are hundreds of flavors makes my mouth water uncontrollably.

Japan is perfect for nature lovers; the land looks like it was created by angels. Everything is perfectly placed as if it were planned, but nope. That's just the beauty of Japan; including Mount Fiji, the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, gardens, trails, and pretty much anywhere you look.

Experiencing The Weird And Wonderful Side Of Tokyo like Cat Cafes, Karaoke Bars, Pokémon Center, and Robot Restaurants.

Next to the wacky side of Japan is the amazing ancient Japsnese culture that they hold so dearly to themselves. Their culture dates back to thousands of years ago; with many of the oldest aspects withstanding the test of time! Kyoto is the best place to witness geisha history, especially in the Gion district.

Many people have said when you visit a different country it is best to lose yourself. Literally. You'll end up finding things you've never imagined; see sites a lot of tourists haven't. Just get lost and enjoy the magic that is Japan.

For these reasons, I want to visit Japan.  Many people visit Japan and love it. Japan is clearly one of the place you should visit in your life."

EATING FRUIT

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths.

It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and  *when*  to eat the fruits.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS!

FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

If you eat fruits on empty stomach,  it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities. 

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.

Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit.

 

The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so due to the bread taken before the fruit.

In the meantime the whole meal  of bread & fruit  rots and ferments and turns to acid. 

The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

So please eat your fruits on an   *empty  stomach*   or before your meals !

You have heard people complaining :  

Every time I eat watermelon I burp,  when I eat durian my stomach bloats up,  when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc.. etc..

Actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach.

The fruit mixes with the putrefying of other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat !

Greying hair, balding, nervous outburst and dark circles under the eyes all these will *NOT*  happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. 

If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the  * SECRET *  of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

 

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only * fresh*  fruit juice,  NOT  from the cans, packs  or bottles.

Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. 

Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. 

You only get its taste.

Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice.

If you should drink the fresh fruit  juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. 

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse or detoxify  your body. 

Just eat fruits and drink fresh  fruit juice throughout

the 3 days.

Early life and education -Pasterski was born in Chicago on June 3, 1993 to Mark Pasterski and Maria Gonzalez. Her father, an attorney and an electrical engineer, encouraged her to follow her dreams. She enrolled at the Edison Regional Gifted Center in 1998, and graduated from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in 2010.

She took her first flying lesson in 2003, piloted FAA1 at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2005 and started building a kit aircraft by 2006. Her first U.S. solo flight was in that kit aircraft in 2009 after being signed off by her CFI Jay Maynard.

In her 2012 Scientific American 30 under 30 interview, Pasterski named among her scientific heroes Leon Lederman, Dudley Herschbach, and Freeman Dyson, and said she was drawn to physics by Jeff Bezos. She has received job offers from Blue Origin, an aerospace company founded by Amazon.com's Jeff Bezos, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration

Academia
As a sophomore at MIT, Pasterski was part of the CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. She received academic freedom from her Harvard PhD advisor in the Spring of 2015 based upon Pasterski et al's 2014 discovery of the "spin memory effect" which may be used to detect or verify the net effects of gravitational waves. She would then complete the Pasterski–Strominger–Zhiboedov Triangle for electromagnetic memory in a 2015 solo paper that Stephen Hawking cited in early 2016.

Media coverage
Hawking’s citation of Pasterski’s solo work on the PSZ Triangle was publicized by actor George Takei when he quoted her on his Twitter account: Hopefully I'm known for what I do and not what I don't do. The Steven P. Jobs Trust article included in the tweet has been shared 1,200,000 times.

Pasterski’s 2016 work in promoting the Let Girls Learn initiative has been recognized by an invitation to the White House, a congratulatory message from the White House played on network television, as well as a two page spread in Marie Claire's January 2017 issue with former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Pasterski's continuing efforts to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education for girls in Cuba has been recognized by the Annenberg Foundation.

Pasterski's 2017 work in promoting STEM education for girls in Russia has been recognized by the U.S Embassy in Moscow and by the Moscow Polytech.

International print and television coverage of Pasterski's work has appeared in Russian, Polish, Czech, Spanish, German, Hindi and French: Russia Today, Poland's Angora magazine, DNES magazine in the Czech Republic, People en Espanol, Jolie in Germany, Vanitha TV in India, Madame magazine in France, le Figaro magazine Paris, Femina magazine in Switzerland, and Marie Claire Espana. In 2016, R&B singer Chris Brown posted a page with a video promoting her. Forbes and The History Channel ran stories about Gonzalez Pasterski for their audiences in Mexico and Latin America, respectively.

Checking the accuracy of media portrayals, Snopes found that the "viral meme about  Harvard University graduate student gets most (but not all) of the facts right." Pasterski and Hawking don't follow each other on twitter, since neither Hawking nor Pasterski had a twitter account, Snopes stated instead that "the truth is actually much more interesting" pointing out that two scientific papers published in 2016 and co-authored by Hawking cited two pieces of research co-authored by Pasterski and one written solely by her. The label “the next Einstein" according to Snopes "is a label she clearly finds uncomfortable", adding that Pasterski wrote in 2017, "I am just a grad student. I have so much to learn. I do not deserve the attention. Pasterski keeps a list of personal responses to media portrayals on her website.

A) FAINTING- UNCONSCIOUSNESS

In case of fainting caused due to worries, fear, anger, hard work, try this:

1) Pour water on the head and splash water on the face. Let him have more fresh air. Importantly loosen the clothes form waist. Drip onion juice 2-2 drops in nostrils.

2) Massage of sweet oil on whole body also brings consciousness back.

B) ACID BURN IN STOMACH

Take 10 ml. of coconut water & 10ml. Of [decantedj lime water and mix them in a glass bottle. Add one gram of peppermint and one gram of bhimseni camphor. Shake it well. Apply this solution thrice a day on the burnt part. Burning sensation will reduce and chances of suppurating and patches on the skin reduces.

 Caution: In the wound is very serious, consult doctor immediately since more medication may be required to cure the wound.

C) PRICKING OF GLASS IN THE FOOT

Apply rubbed asafetida on the place where the glass has pierced. The glass will come out. This formula is also useful in case of thorn piercing.
